In the end of the 90's, I had installed a motion sensor which had gone off and indicated that somebody had been into my studio flat in Kong Oscars Gate in Bergen while I was out. One morning I drank coffee and was - after a sip of the coffee - and I think it was the second time I made coffee that morning - attacked by a strange feeling and had to lie down on the bed - it felt like talking with the head inside a tin can, like having a big tin can like an astronaut helmet over the head, with hollow echo inside the head. I got the idea that I had been poisoned - but clearly there are many other possible explanations - for example, the strange feeling correlated also with a discovery of or at least ideas about some poetic stuctures in my work relative to the homeric epics.
I cannot remember that I should have written on the internet or in a letter of some kind that houseletter Erik Berstad had attempted to poison me, and I do not believe that I could have written it simply because I had not enough data for such a conclusion, although the data I had were suggestive of a potential poisoning attempt. The motion sensor had been triggered - I tested the possibility that it had been triggered by the movement of the inside door handle and found that it probably was not the explanation, but in order to avoid making too much story out of it, I fancied that a strong infrared impulse could have gone through the wall and triggered the sensor in that way. There were two locks on the door - the ordinary lock which the houseletter had a key to and a security lock which he had allowed me to install, acquired from a nearby locksmith.
The data did not suffice for any conclusion on who it could have been, or even if a passing-by infrared beam could have done it, but clearly if there had been intruders, it was a wise thing to tell it in some way or other in those days - and not come around with the data years later if more people had passed away in the same house. Of course it need not have been the houseletter who did it - but he could easily have fallen victim of an intrigue thereby.
Therefore I do not believe that I could have made claims in writing or orally that houseletter Berstad had tried to poison me - but I had probably communicated the details of the story as precisely as I could. If I should have been imprecise in the exposition in such a way that it could have left the impression that I believed that Berstad had tried to poison me, I do apologize for having made such an impression - if I did. However, I hope and do believe that I did not. I had anyhow not enough reason to believe so. If a burglar had been into the flat, he would have needed two keys, and even if Berstad had one of them, to get hold of two rather than only one is of coruse a little more work but probably not that much.
As far as I remember, the strange feelings after a sip of the coffee would probably have been in 1999, the year of the Kosovo bombing campaign (airplanes and things falling down) and the falldown of JFK jr's airplane - followed by the Grand Izmit quake one 'lunatic' month exactly after JFK jr's falldown and later in the year the forced hospitalization of me in psychiatric hospital on the day (or day before - I had to wait overnight for a doctor) of the Kennedy assassination 22 nov. This 21 nov was also half a year exactly after the death of Anne Orderud Paust. All this could mean that 'suspected murder attempt' in theory could have been a part of a reason for forced psychiatric hospitalization - that is, if things had 'turned around' by political intrigue. I have never tried to murder anybody.
