A fish

A fish swam by in a venetian canal. I asked it: What is a fish? It said, a fish is an-i-mal, one-at-a-time. 'Animal'.

Another fish swam by. I asked it: What is a fish? It said, a fish is a mouth, you know that.

Yet another fish came by, a little young, a little transparent. I said, hello fish, what do you want to do when you grow up? It said, be a salmon.
