It was after 25 october some day, could be around the end of october when these ex nihilos occurred - I had translated a little from chinese and had listened on internet to Maurizio Pollini play some Nono, but I had not the time to hear it through so I broke off half way. Then I found that in my bathroom a handkerchief had fallen down from the ceiling: The lamp cord hangs from a hole in the ceiling plate and I had never had the chance to put up a cup to cover it but had stuffed a handkerchief into the hole. Now it suddenly had fallen down and I believed that I heard a little animal up there on the ceiling plate. I got a little nervous that it was an 'ichneumon' and I therefore had to find a stepladder and screw up a piece of plywood - I got dizzy while I stood there but luckily it ended well. Later in the day I could hear the rest of the Nono recording.
