Seems like Giovanni Lanfranco could be a combined function 1-2 artist. Some examples (links to my poems load once only in Windows):
Venus playing the harp = TEQ #44 (function 1)
Hagar in the Wilderness = TEQ #90 (function 2)
Virgin and Child Appearing to the hermit Saints Paul and Anthony (?) = TEQ #91 (function 2)
San Luca di Giovanni Lanfranco = TEQ #92 (function 2) - (see also DDS part III: 39)
Added 19 february 2023:
Nude young man with a cat (from this source) = TEQ #51 (function 1)
Added 21-22 february 2023:
I found a puzzling series of further correlations with my DDS part III (links to artworks from this source):
Angélica e Medoro = DDS part III:25 = volume 4 page 416
Elie et la veuve de Sarepta = DDS part III:26 = volume 4 page 417
Angelica pflegt Medoro = DDS part III:27 = volume 4 page 418
Giovane nudo sul letto con un gatto = DDS part III:28 = volume 4 page 419
Enea fugge da Troia con la sua famiglia = DDS part III:29 = volume 4 page 420
Elijah Receiving Bread from the Widow of Zarephath = DDS part III:30 = volume 4 page 421
Norandino and Lucina Discovered by the Ogre = DDS part III:31 = volume 4 page 422
El rapto de Europa (a quote of Rafael's 'Triumph of Galatea' = DDS part III:32 = volume 4 page 423
Rinaldo abbandona Armida = DDS part III:33 = volume 4 page 424
Roger arrivé en Bretagne fait descendre Angélique de l'hippogriffe = DDS part III:34 = volume 4 page 425
There is an interesting comment to these artworks under Brief comments for 22 february 2023 excerpted here.
The interesting point is the last line in my DDS part III which is "Wir stehn auf der trockenen Diele". Is the following artwork (or is it remains of an artwork?) assigned to Lanfranco a 'dry plank' for this last line?
The death of Seneca = DDS part III:64 = volume 4 page 455
