I went for a walk and stopped at a window rehearsing electronic piano with metronome - scales up and down mainly - and I recorded 2:22 minutes. (I dont know what sort of piano it was - just before I pressed the recording button there were some seconds of harp music). It turned out that the recording had a weakness at about 1:04,8 and the pianist made a sudden unmotivated restart at 01:23. This called to my mind the beginning of poem TEQ #833 (the first lines) (from my 'The Endmorgan Quartet' book 11 "Winter Princess" in the third quarter books 9-12 called "A saga Hume") - in particular since TEQ #835 (that is, two poems later) is signed 'Metronomen' = 'The Metronome', talking a regular beat of 'equivalences' at about 60 per minute. There were two sharp knocks at 0:55 and one at 0:57. The undulations stopped at 01:43 and started new scale rehearsals at 01:47.

21 march 2022: I heard a brief excerpt from Wang playing Rachmaninov some time ago and this morning (around 7:30 or so local time) I wanted to find out if it contained the same logic as in my 2:22 recording - but the page would not open on my computer. It hopefully does later. I copied the URL https://twitter.com/i/status/1501632524300079104 (which I stored at 07:35) but dont know if it is the excerpt I heard since twitter is closed on my computer or internet connection from about that morning time.

(It seems that the idea of the logic of 2:22 could have arisen around the time of an unfortunate event the same morning - but there was otherwise 'no connection' to this).
