I bought a Lenovo Miix 320 (tablet with tastatura) (HUCU-860, it tells) in Media Markt in Vienna just before christmas and lockdown. It was a display model, allegedly the last they had in Media Markt in the Lugner Shopping Centre (who probably 'lend' the 'premises' to Media Markt). This turned out to boot very slowly because the disk was full - but when I counted the files in the directories they summed up to max half of it and there was nothing to delete. So the 'bytometre' was out of order? The seller had mumbled about 'recovery' which I tried but it could not with so little disk space - and when I tried to reinstall, the boot order could not be changed. So it seems unusable for anything but small megabytes. The newspapers told that Lugner (the owner of the centre) himself had been in hospital and was on 'recovery'.

There was a (probably) 6 GB file on the desktop called I think Windows 32+64 which could be removed - when I tried to do that I had to use (as far as I remember) a 64 GB memory stick for storing a backup copy, a smaller (32 GB) would not hold it, told the bytometre. After having removed it, there was a little more space which I could use for installing Word and some other programs, and there was even some 2-3 GB left, but these often shrink to less than 1 GB when I use the machine and I often have to clean the machine of superfluous files and restart - that sometimes helps - but the machine is clearly not in order.

Also, the battery doesnt last long - a very few hours at the most. I hope it is not full of surveillance equipment and 'leak' info.

Clearly it is possible to suspect that the machine suffers from retention and incontinence problems and therefore needs a catheter - cp. the name of Meghan Markle relative to Media Markt. But that would suggest that the problems could have been done on purpose (for creating the feeling that a catheter = Media Markt is urgently needed) and that would be very little flattering for the chain.

There is also a slot in the back of the machine for an extra memory (or SIM) card but the machine cannot get in contact with it - I tried in early june to get help to get a driver from Lenovo but terminated when too many minutes on the internet had elapsed without leading to anything. It is of course possible that it doesnt help much to find the right driver - if the problem should be that they had fixed the machine on purpose for making it look like retention problems.

There have been some other peculiarities - I recently wrote the name of Yuja Wang but the machine wrote Yuja Wannnnnnnnn... and printed out N's for a couple of lines. This happened at least twice [9.9.: probably more than twice, and at least once with this name]. I myself had on 6 july written in my diary on the same computer about an erotic studio in Hütteldorferstrasse 47 in Vienna [9.9.: called 'Le Souterrain'] that was 'wegen coronavirus geschlossen' (a fantastic theory that this sign could have been the reason why the epidemic could have been set in circulation) - and now I recognized this G-schlossen in the name backwards as Navalny - the russian opposition politician (called 'blogger' in the news) who was poisoned on the way from Tomsk and had to emergency land in Omsk. 'Erotic studio' backwards looks a little like 'toy touchy roy'.

If you have some idea how to reduce the bytes on the computer, I would be glad for some info. I dont feel for having the machine repaired at Media Markt.

PS I tried a CHKDSK on the command line and got this answer:
