In Venice there is a problem with eroding bricks: In a level from about belt to hat (or shoulders) of a normal person there is an erosion which seems to come from some strange phenomenon. Many houses have been forced to reinforce their walls by replacing the old bricks (many of them reduced to near powder) with new. Here is a normal venetian wall where the erosion has begun and a wall that has been repaired probably because of serious erosion:

Venice centro storico is like a brain with two hemispheres and three commissures, the main white commissure is Rialto. Could be the problem of eroding bricks comes from a potentially schizophrenic condition - here a quote from my novel 'The Dreamer' (I dont remember where the quote is from but I think it was maybe quoted from an anonymous client by Frith or von Domarus or one of those I read some 25 years ago):

The Dreamer 8.1.95: Schizophrenic's suggestion: Jesus (by the halo or glory), cigars (by the tax band), and the sex glance by men onto women are one and the same thing.

There are many churches in Venice, more than 100 on this little area. Some big churches are built from bricks. Here is the wall (some 4-5 metes high) surrounding the garden to the carmelite church near St.Lucia train station - and a detail of it:

By the christian mystery it can be possible to take in nourishment without turning hostile towards other people. Food is stored as fat in a belt around the belly - that is the wheel which there is little of in Venice - people must walk or boat instead of drive. The walk is in the parting of the 'chinese radicals' in the fork. This means that if too much friendliness is stored up around the belly, the houses must lose weight in this height (from belt to hat/shoulders) and therefore the bricks cast off some of its substance there.

Is it humidity or is it humility that erodes the venetian walls? Withhold tax bands on cigars is perhaps not always good for a schizophrenic, Jesus there is lots of in the many churches and the pretty gulls of Venice attract much attention. A man was eating a pizza in the street when a gull dived down and pulled it out of his hands. It is the gull-let and the transubstantiation dogma which is the core of the political history since Henry VIII - with the development of the power of secret intelligences. (I notice also Hitler's death camp structure of Sobibor, Treblinka, Belcez in 'Aktion Reinhardt' - for these three identities of tex band, Jesus 'rex man' and sex glance - which should not allow for a 'tyrannosaurus rex' on the ideas of Jesus - indeed it may be that Hitler's ideas could be called 'abusive' in character).

I dont know how long the brick erosions have been going on.

All spectra leak - that fact could be the reason why the venetian house walls feel that they must lose weight and throw off some substance in belt height. It is because the solution of the wheel is not really possible in Venice - with all the bridges every now and then people must walk and cannot drive on bicycle or cart. Here is a venetian 'bicycle' in height from about belt to hat level at Campo Santa Maria Mater Domini, just outside the entrance to the church, on the other side of the campo from the facade with the 'aleatoric' artwork:
