Was 'William Croft' the real name of 'Adolf Hitler'? See page 16 in the parallel of John Grover 1823 with John Grover 1843 in the British Library: There is a hand annotation 'Croft' to 'Matt.iii.2' in John Grover 1823 corresponding to 'That all I asked was permission' in John Grover 1843.

I recall that the first father 'John Grøver' was replaced with a not so similar copy - another father - in a summer when we came from Vågstranda and waited for the ferry to Molde, and I have computed that it probably must have been in the summer 1969. I computed 12 years 2 months and 3 weeks backwards in time and landed on may 1957 - and it seems that the cartoons of The New Yorker for 18 may 1957 could be seen as relevant. That means '1223' computed from 8 august 1969 - and hence if this issue of 1957 be relevant, one could guess that the replacement of the father could have been around 8 august 1969. (The family was for a week in London in the summer 1972. Before we left, the man in the role of the father give me a 'telling look', as if it were important, and said: We are going to travel with a 'Caravelle'). The 17 cartoons in The New Yorker for this issue seem to be centered on the two names of 'Adolf Hitler' and 'William Croft' - plus apparently 'rhetoric' and 'upside down', all of these also in the upside down form.

As is seen, there is a certain mirror form of the series around the mid 300 - such as 296 / 304, fifth from beginning/end.

The idea that Adolf Hitler / William Croft even could have been originally a descendent of Buckingham would probably have been an effect of the idea of 'relative bløder'. 'Avis-gutten' (the boy who distributes the newspapers = 'avis' in the early morning) could likewise be derived from 'avvis' = 'reject', the boy who died early.

'John Grøver' was allegedly born 'John Jensen'. It is possible that The birth of John Jensen 1916 was not fake news produced later. Concerning the mid cartoon 300 with the 'jenker', there is a word 'jenequen' mentioned in Onion's dictionary said to be the same as 'henequen' - could be there is some links to 'Jensen' in that 'jenequen'. Could be this 'thick, sword-shaped leaves yield a coarse reddish fibre used in making rope etc' is the hidden reference in cartoon #306. Cp. also the name of the 'Agave fourcroydes' relative to 'William Croft'.

Was this WWI Hitler (a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler">source) - here detail - the same person as this WWII Hitler? The ear seems not the same?
