A historic background of my poetic authorship
John Bjarne Grover
As I have suggested in the article on 'The story of my scientific career', it seems that much of the present-day conflicts (Gaza, Iran) can be traced back to the 1992 rejection of my application - after my 1991 discovery of the entropy equation that interprets the information flux from eternity (infinity) into history and thereby can be seen as the underlying formal basis for religious conflicts through centuries: My article 'The submorphemic Aristotle' shows that Aristotle's central concepts on the relation between metaphysics (the 'eternity') and physics (the 'history') can be seen as constituting the various parts of the equation. It was this equation I discovered in 1991 when I tried to find the formalistic basis for probabilistic grammar and even if everything seemed to point towards the continuation of my academic work by a scholarship in 1993, which means for elaborating my ideas on this field further, the application was rejected and seemingly 'hijacked' by Norway with the 1993 'Oslo Accords' with a working committee which seemed by their names to constitute the 'fak-juul-tet-stipend' which was the 'reason' they gave for the rejection of my application: I had applied for a doctorate stipend from the research council but not from the faculty, and that is why it was rejected.
The history could have been presented several traps that an organized intrigue therein could have been tempted or invited to go into: One of these could have been the 'octogon' which could have been the unspoken reason for the rejection of the application (that I could not easily lecture before a norwegian audience, and a doctorate is for teaching new students, as it could seem), and a continued emphasis on this would thereby have supported a norwegian 'hijack' even if there could have been a potential (norwegian?) 'intelligence project' hidden in the historic dark of the origin of this 'octogon'. Another and worse trap for such a self-supporting 'hijack' could be seen if the entropy equation also can be analyzed into morphs of a quasi 'fak-juul-tete-stip-(p)end'. Can it? Well, there are traces of it in my article on Aristotle - such as the central concept of εἶδος which I take to mean the 'nesting loops' of the two summation signs at the 'head' ('tete') of the equation - could be some could have called that 'fak-juul' (which some norwegians even could have linked to the 'octogon' in the form of 'ei dåse, ikkje to' = 'one box/vagina, not two'), while the whole thing as finite mathematics is of course only a finite 'stip-juul-asian' of the infinities of equiprobability that are needed for making sense of the formula under normal circumstances. This means that if this 'fak-juul-tete-stip-(p)end' even could be recognized in the name of 'Helge Julius Jakhelln Dyvik' ('fak-julius-tete-steep-pend' with 'Dyvåt' = 'soaking wet' steep-pend), and if this name could be traced back to Davik, Devik, Døvig etc from the 1960's, it could have been the very triumph of norwegian administration that they (subconsciously) felt very justified in running off with my (at that time very unelaborated) project since they felt that they could present what they felt as a legitimate origin of these concepts if it could be understood that the project were their own - not the least since the then very diffuse ideas still hidden in the darkness of the unknown with potentially gigantic reverberations from centuries of international history seemed to be contained in their own 'intelligence projects'. That is, of course, if 'the meaning of names' (as in Plato's 'Cratylus' dialogue) is seen as a legitimate format for rational thinking - not only for administrative intrigues. The moon travel of 1969 likewise could have seemed to suggest that they were justified in this coup of my ideas - and this feeling of an administrative justification for such a coup - which even could have served to lift the state out of a certain potentially 'high-fly-ing' international soup - could have been what flashed through the mind of my advisor Even Hovdhaugen if he read through the drafts I had given to him in the spring 1991 and there he felt the whole story unfold in the dark recesses of the unknown of his own mind? I think Even Hovdhaugen told me the rejection of the application including the 'fakultetstipend' reason after a guest lecture in Oslo in late 1992 by the american linguist Wallace Chafe - who even could have been standing nearby overhearing it. Helge Dyvik had also been a guest lecturer at the institute some months or maybe a year or two earlier.
Of course my ideas about the entropy equation as a relevant formal basis for probabilistic grammar is not motivated in an administrative intrigue in Norway - and its probably high relevance for the philosophy of Aristotle and the historic reception of it would even less find its root in a 'transhistoric' glorious role of the state of Norway - even if something like that could have been canvassed by a (british?) background for and historic justification of the formation of the state of Norway in 1814: The stories in 'Heimskringla' - written in (what I have guessed to be) english 'blue ecstasy' (that is to write as if one should have been displaced into another historic time) comparable to a transhistoric sort of more or less majestic 'glory'? - about the strandhogging norwegian vikings could have looked something like that sort of quasi transhistoric glory which even could have lent to recent modern history a taint of hubris that could have unfolded its wings in various 'high-fly-ing' soups. It could have been all this which they saw as a faint flashlight in the darkness at the end of 'their own' tunnel - cp. the 'autofellatio' program ('men berre ei dåse, ikkje to' potentially) relevant for the 1814 constitution-making motto 'united and loyal untill Dovre falls'.
In short, it is well possible that the entropy formula could have looked like a solution not only to probabilistic grammar in super-relevance for understanding the historicity of the generativist paradigm but also to national and international problems. The dangerous inherent hubris which the norwegians could have surfed on since 1814 could then have been lifted over into a feeling that it could have been their own project evidenced as hidden in the formula.
Why would the entropy equation be super-relevant for understanding also the generativist paradigm? The reason is in the obvious computer revolution which has not even started - now by 2026. The socalled 'artificial intelligence' has been preborn already but is (probably) not even close to what the real 'artificial intelligence' will be about when the computers start formalizing their own errors contained in the inavoidable electromagnetic induction on their micro-chips for a new platonic communicational interface and logic between computers - could be even across the universe. It is likely that this logic will be out of reach for the limited human reality and therefore will be the real artificial intelligence.
Credit the source: I had not seen the potential in this 'artificial intelligence' and was not aware of the phenomenon of machine errors and error corrections before I read Lov K.Grover's article 'Quantum computing' which tells it in clear words: "Machines make mistakes. Classical computers are designed to catch errors through redundancy. They perform each elementary computation several times and then accept the most frequent answer as correct". Ah, this is what one needs to know - that a normal computer makes each elementary computation many times and selects the majority result. That is necessary because machines make mistakes. But how can a machine make mistakes? That seems to me to be only because they rely on thresholding of voltages and when that is not safe computation it means that threshold levels can be transcended by induction of 'noise' electricity and that means that the computation has induced this itself from the coincidental or even arbitrary electromagnetic source which floats like a divine spirit over the electromagnetic waters - and interacts in unpredictable ways with the working of the machine. That is where the new computer logic of the real 'artificial intelligence' will be found - and that revolution is probably still rather far away since this logic probably cannot be constructed by humans but can only be discovered by the computers themselves.
Clearly this logic will also be based on the working of machines that do not repeat the elementary calculations but include all errors as integral parts of the computations - for which reason they also will work much faster and will not need to go through a door several times before they succeed - albeit their functionality will then seemingly be illogical compared with the human reality. (See the subtitle to Grover's article). It was when I worked at the institute of informatics in Oslo in 1987-89 that I started doing things several times before I found the right solution. It once took me 4 hours to walk around Sognsvann lake, against the normal half an hour or so. Were these problems what the computer scientists at the academic institute really were concerned with?
When all human labour has been erased from the human society with the construction of robots, what will the humans do - could be before the autonomous computers eventually take over? There will be only one field of relevant activity (which computers cannot do better) left for the humans - that is in mysticism. Human mysticism will not be the same as the new computer mysticism - that is what these 'platonic' computations will come to mean. Computer mysticism can probably come very far in the understanding of hitherto unknown realities (far beyond the limited human reality) - but it may be that it will never be able to fully understand human mysticism - just like the human police can have difficulties with understanding how the police dogs can smell that drug in that hermetically sealed container.
All sensible religion tells that the historic reality is suffering and that one hopes to escape the circle of rebirth by entering paradise. Nazi philosophy tells: Then why continue with this historic reality? Why not help people out of it with some genocide? Isnt that why humans have constructed the computer which can take over after the humans exit from history? But then they have forgotten that there is still something called the human way to paradise - which the computers probabily cannot understand and may be badly in need of.
Therefore it is well possible that the computer is not the end of religious mysticism - on the contrary it may be that this technology is just the beginning of a new blossoming age for just mysticism. That is precisely where the difference between classic structuralism and the new generativism is found - since any 'new grammar' can be invented by a computer that in the course of a millisecond reads through the entire literature since the script technology was invented millenia ago and on basis of this by data analysis quickly extracts all grammar from it and produces all the theories and grammars that can be postulated and produced and ranks them and chooses the best (by e.g. a 'majority rule'). But this is still only structuralist grammar and generativism postulates a 'divine inspiration' in human grammar (logic) which cannot be predicted from any corpus. Clearly the computers will make their own 'generativist grammars' on basis of their own 'divine inspirations' floating over the electromagnetic waves. But will they ever be able to understand the human mysteries?
This human mysticism is what my 'The Endmorgan Quartet' is about. I believe this work of mine is far more important than my work with Aristotle and the 'entropy equation' modelling the divine information flux - the 'divine inspiration', so to speak. It is therefore potentially very alarming if norwegian quasi 'trans-historicity' has glimpsed a light at the end of the tunnel by administrating permissions for abuse of it to all sorts of media and businesses - as for keeping up the 'blue ecstasy' as a guiding light for understanding the history right by way of such a permissions roleswap.
It may be important to understand these aspects of my authorship relative to the current historic situation - not the least for understanding that 1991-1992-1993 did not have a prehistory from norwegian 'intelligence' in the 1960's or even 1814 or the socalled viking era. Hopefully it will not be necessary to war down Norway if they have spread this gospel to too many administrations around the world.
It is possible that the rejection of my PhD in Bergen in 1998 could have been preplanned since the mid 1970's and that this 'Bergen-pelsen' including the forced psychiatric detention for 1,5 month could have been pre-announced even via the letter from the tax authorities in 1993. One and a half month in psychiatric custody is not a small matter - in particular when the psychiatrists talked of keeping me for at least half a year or more and the detention period started on 22 november 1999, same day as Kennedy assassination and the day in 1971 when Arnold Juklerød was detained and held through 14 years for reasons of 'insanity without symptoms'. (Were I put in psychiatric custody in 1999 for giving me a goodenough reason for a disability pension - without which I could hardly have survived? It must be noticed that the official mother in 1970-71 - while I was undergoing school dentistry, by the way - allegedly was a member of Gudmund Harlem's 'Utvalget for omsorgen for funksjonshemmede' = 'Committee for the care of the disableds' which defined the criteria for just disability pensions - which again would apply to my 1999 situation, which also means that my derailed academic career could have been prescheduled since the 1970's). It looks like a series of interlocking coincidences, which perhaps it is not? Therefore I cannot say thanks to a new 'advance[d] inheritance' from the official mother - in particular not if it serves to keep that feeling of national 'transhistoric' glory up and going (with all the international rumble it could come to lead to). Of course I am grateful for support that can keep myself and my work up and going - but it is not right to identify me with such a national problem.
It is not the victim of modern electronic surveillance and persecution that shall 'take up the glove' and face the challenge from international business, media, administration - it is the state who must do that even without asking the victim in advance. If the state cannot handle that, then the victim must have the right to a political asylum in another state who can handle it.

17 may 2026:
I searched the web for some literature on computer hardware error detecting technology but could not find much. However, I found this book which should be about the problem of how to detect and correct errors on processing unit level in computers:
"Advanced Hardware Design for Error Correcting Codes"
Editors: Cyrille Chavet, Philippe Coussy
The presentation of the book includes the lines:
• Examines how to optimize the architecture of hardware design for error correcting codes;
• Presents error correction codes from theory to optimized architecture for the current and the next generation standards;
• Provides coverage of industrial user needs advanced error correcting techniques.
Advanced Hardware Design for Error Correcting Codes includes a foreword by Claude Berrou."
It may perhaps be that this is the closest one can come to the 'holy cow of computer science': Clearly the line "Provides coverage of industrial user needs advanced error correcting techniques" seems to contain a hardware error somewhere - but where is the error and how can we detect it? This is, though, probably to come too close to the sleeping Frankenstein and therefore the reader immediately gets a correction with the name "Claude Berrou" = 'klådd på error' - 'has (indecently) touched the error'. (Or, rather, 'has touched the errou' as the computer has reproduced it). Should the names of the editors also tell about being a little careful with touching these matters too closely?
Is that really how computer science on hardware level is working? Or is this a typical western problem - which makes their computers ah so slow but ah so scary and therefore the ideal defence for NATO and all those? The new Frankenstein GRRR Missile Correction System - the spearhead of advanced western defence technology? Dont touch 'The Dreamer', the sleeping Frankenstein.
I recall what happened when I came with my virus medication theory which perhaps could have stopped COVID. See also this article. It seemed, though, as the statistics suggested, that the vaccines that were distributed turned out to be even more dangerous than the pandemic itself and therefore the pandemic got scared and eventually withdrew.
I quote from the end of TEQ poem #5 "The viva - a disputation on the doctoral dissertation" - here from page 26-27:
|
Oh it is - like food in the mouth. At last it will attain some shape.
Walk in and out of the same
Lord Aberdeen
But when I started from Springer-Verlag, |
"Lord Aberdeen is to us the fifteen trials" - oh, Mr.Grover has made a typing error again. It seems the processing must run at least 59 times - but why is it called 15? The old 'rule-of-thumb' tells that you should chew the food 33 times.
Is this what the socalled 'quantum computing' is about?
The poem TEQ #5 was written long before I handed in my PhD for evaluation at the university of Bergen.
The dissertation contained also the discussion of the sculpture exhibition 'Brudd' where one of the sculptures was 'Element 13' by Laila Aas Birkeland & Brit Bøhme - which could be seen as a sculpture about this 'Lord Aberdeen'. Clearly these hardware processing matters (here about the welding of the bars) is not only computer science - it is also an esthetic and maybe religious/mystic matter.
Or is it the 'all-go-rhythm'?
The mystic logic of thresholding
Since the vital thing in a computer is that the result goes into either zero or one and therefore it be all about thresholding of the electric current, it follows that it necessarily vibrates just on that threshold and therefore the system necessarily is sensitive to induction phenomena. This means that it is all about the thresholding and the human concerns about 'meaning in the diffuse redundancies' there. This is what my 23 black-and-white photos are about - the mystery 'how can these find such a precise correlate in the poem of Valery'? In the 10 first poems of 'The Endmorgan Quartet', the poet walks back and forth at the foot of the mountain, trying to find a way to start the ascension whereby he can come to the top without having to return. One of the routes he considers is this #5 - he eventually starts the ascension in poem #11.
Or what about the amazing similarities in the last four of the 23 thresholded photos with the 4 first numerals in ancient egyptian hieroglyphics? These numerals 1-2-3-4 have hieroglyphic representations that are not simply vertical strokes, as shown in the following excerpt from Gardiner's Egyptian grammar p.191:
The numeral '1'
The numeral '1' seems to be constituted by a barbed harpoon (T21) and a forearm (D36) (not D39?) - plus sometimes an owl (G17) - these three are clearly visible in the last of the 23 black-and-white photos - here annotated for showing the similarity with the hieroglyphs in the numeral '1':
|
|
The owl can perhaps be seen in the white fields between and to the right of the other two glyphs.
The numeral '2'
The numeral '2' (besides the common two vertical strokes) seems (to determine from Wallis Budge) to be mainly the bowl (W24) = 𓏌 - it is here compared with the second last photo turned upside-down:
|
|
See also the discussion of Mikelis Ablikhos's poem under Example 17 - the poem Εις Λεύκωμα δος Αικατερίνης Βαλσαμάκη = 'In the whiteness of Ekaterina Valsamaki'. (I have transcribed his name Μικέλης Άβλιχος as 'Ablikhos' but 'Avlikhos' is probably more common - unfortunately it seems that his collected works which were available on the web formerly under http://vivl-lixour.kef.sch.gr/?page_id=553&lang=el now is not there any longer - have they been removed by some 'intelligence' intrigue?). It seems that this poem describes what is inside that hieroglyphic 'bowl' when the photo is upside-down. Ablikhos/Avlikhos is a very interesting poet - apparently still only in greek, as far as I have been able to find out - my theory is that his poems describe what my 23 black-and-white photos are about - which then means that they concern just that thresholding which the present discussion is about.
My own poem #2 in the chapter '20 Gedichte' (in 'SNEEFT COEIL') can be seen to recognize the same 'bell' shape as in photo #22. It was written years after I took the photos but before I discovered the parallelism in the egyptian hieroglyphs. I did not think of the photo when I wrote the poem.
The numeral '3'
The numeral '3' seems (to determine from Wallis Budge) to be mainly the placenta (Aa1) = 𓐍 combined with a phallus (D53) and sometimes a bread bun (X1) = 𓏏 - it is here compared with the third last photo - one sees the phallus in the lower righthand corner, the placenta could be in the centre and maybe there is a bread bun to the right above the phallus and the placenta:
|
|
The numeral '4'
Finally, the hieroglyphic numeral four is constituted by 1) a reed (M17), 2) a viper (I9), 3) a hand (D46) and 4) a quail chick. From this file (the discussion of TEQ #1581 wherein 400.000 houses were flown to Egypt) I excerpt the fourth last black-and-white photo - that is #20 - annotated for showing the similarity with the hieroglyphic sign group:
|
|
The viper, seen clearly also as a black diagonal in Caravaggio's 'Adorazione dei pastori' - could then be the poet trumpeting his words (like a quail chick) across the black tree trunk.
Some other numerals
There could be traces of a correlation in the higher numbers as well - such as the number '8' which often contains a bird and the water waveform - when my photo #16 shows what looks like a dove and a violin: But that is a conceptual rather than graphic correlation. If so, then one could even try the same for the number '7' which often contains a folded cloth, a viper and a placenta. Can those concepts be recognized in photo #17 (a sort of 'triptyk')? Hm, maybe.
Conclusion on the discussion of the thresholded photos and the hieroglyphic numerals
How come the four last of the 23 photos from the Danube island - which I thresholded into black-and-white - can be so similar to the four first egyptian numerals in hieroglyphic script? It is because of the thresholding - in the colour originals it is not so easily seen. The 23 photos were taken completely arbitrarily in a shady grove. Clearly some could think that there must be some numinosities behind these correlations with the thresholdings - a peculiar logic beyond human reasoning which is normally not included into standard computations - which probably could be the reason why computer science apparently (based on my limited knowledge) is not so quick with coming too close to it. But it must be observed that one should not mix such fears up with ideas about potential military adversaries. However, if one has a feeling that own defence is devoid of such logic while potential adversaries could have discovered and implemented it, then it can perhaps be difficult to avoid projecting such awe-inspiring ideas over onto others.
If it is found that there is a logic in the arbitrary, then one has come across the outlines of a larger reality - which should be the field of interest for the new information technology. If the morpheme is supposed to be arbitrary, then such a logic could be thought of as 'submorphemic'. I have earlier mentioned that my 1995 book 'Submorphemic signification' can be thought of as the theoretic basis (by its conclusion that such a submorphemic signification probably exists in natural human language) for my 1997-2008 'The Endmorgan Quartet'. So it makes sense.
